The Manual Handling Video e-Learning course is an interactive and fully-certified training scheme for both employers and employees looking to comply with Manual Handling Operations Regulations, which state that employees must be trained to manually handle correctly, including the use of any equipment their employer provides to safely handle loads.
Incorrect manual handling is one of the most common causes of injury in UK workplaces. To try and combat manual handling problems, the Manual Handling Operations Regulations were introduced. These were designed to combat the injuries and accidents commonly caused by incorrect manual handling, addressing problems such as posture and lifting technique.
This course defines the parameters of manual handling for candidates, and explains how the laws and regulations around manual handling affect your day-to-day work. The course is fully certified by both the IIRSM and CPD, and is widely accepted as proof of competency in the UK.
Candidates will learn safe handling techniques, and how to make sure that they are applied and reinforced over time. Finally, you’ll learn how to apply these in a range of practical scenarios, as well as how to use common mechanical aids.

What is Video e-Learning?
Video e-Learning is our new online video training system, and an alternative approach to our traditional e-Learning courses. Each module of the manual handling video course is taught with a face-to-face video. Once you’ve finished the video and taken in all of the information, you’ll then have to pass a test to move onto the next module.
This manual handling video course is perfect for visual learners, and anyone who prefers the classroom environment but is unable to make it to our training centre. Video e-Learning users benefit from the visual stimulus of the video training and face-to-face tuition, with all of the advantages of studying wherever and whenever suits you best.
